The fall of Big Green was not pretty. Shadow tried to defend his base and his friends for as long as he could. However, High Roller was prepared for him. He weakened Shadow with specially marked tags that could weaken his powers. As Shadow suffered and his body reformed, High Roller stuck tags inside. Due to the reformation, these tags are forever stuck inside his body. Shadow's body was transformed, all of his power taken out. The wounds Shadow received when battling stayed. The three tags that were used stick onto his face, chest, and arm. The one on his face prevents him from using either his invisibility or intangibility. The one on his arm limits his levitation and shapeshifting. The one on his chest is the most painful of all; he cannot leave within a certain range of East Citadel. The tag also forces him to follow whatever order he is given. Shadow is High Roller's slave, just like most of the other members. Anytime Shadow uses his powers he feels pain inside, like someone was burning him. He floats, but just barely. His tail drags against the ground. Shadow's mind was transformed just like his body was. He is only nice to his fellow slaves. To everyone else he is angry and rude. The one human he hates, is Dalit. She managed to be free from pulling her "alter ego" thing and be Denny while High Roller was winning. And it was because of her tags that Shadow was forced to become what he is. He hopes to never see her again. His one true friend just became his worst enemy.
Yeah, not pretty. Poor Shadow, he looks kinda like his brother Portal now. But Dalit, what have you done? All the years of pain and torture put one person to blame. You made those tags, and High Roller found out about them. He blames you for his suffering, but does Shadow have a real reason.
