This may be a puzzle, but technically its real. I've been trying to figure this out for YEARS and I still have nothing. Was wondering if any of you have an answer to this.

In a hallway there are three light switches. Each switch controls the same light. Currently, the lights are off, and all switches are facing up. Is there any way/what combination would you perform to where all of the switches face down and the lights are off?

I've switched the lights on and off in my head trying to find a way to do it but it's not possible. The closest you could get is two of them facing down.

However that only applies to switching them individually. One possible solution would be to switch one down to turn the lights on than switch the other two simultaneously to turn the lights off. If it doesn't act as if each switch was used individually than that could act as a solution
